Jackfruit Noodle made by ‘Hallisiri’ woman’s organization of Tovinakere, Tumkur District, Karnataka (South India) recently had caught wide media and public attention.
Encouraged, the members recently tried different types of noodles, semia, murukku and chakkuli from raw jackfruit incorporated batter. Now they are wondering as to any KVK, University or food processing experts can train them in production & marketing these products in future.
Padmaraju, a farmer, journalist and social activist is helping the team to take this activity further.
